Garlic can reduce and prevent varicose veins in short time. You should add garlic in your daily food recipes. You can also chew raw garlic or use a garlic tea.

A direct application is also helpful. You can use a commercially available garlic cream or make your own herbal cream. Minced garlic cloves can be mixed into rubbing alcohol. This can be used daily on affected areas to reduce the bulgy appearance. Results can be seen in three to four months.

  1. Try Aloe vera Gel

Aloe vera gel works to reduce the inflammation of the veins. It also improves the overall texture of the skin. For varicose veins, aloe vera gel can be used which you can easily purchase from the market under various brand names. You can also use fresh aloe vera. Take a bunch of it and peel it. Use this for at least three months.

The mother of all vinegar “apple cider vinegar” has benefits here too. All you need is to use it correctly and regularly. Using apple cider vinegar in water and honey drink will heal the inflammation from inside. Make the drink by taking 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar in one glass warm water with added honey You must take this drink daily if the varicose veins are at a severe level. Also, topical application is necessary. Take a moist and clean towel and dip it into apple cider vinegar. place it on the affected area and leave it for 30-45 minutes. It must not be compressed. You can use this daily.

  1. Cayenne Pepper Tea

Cayenne pepper is considered as a multipurpose product from the kitchen. It is helpful to the health and also effective to reduce varicose veins. It is rich in vitamin C which improves the circulation of blood and supports the blood veins. In result, the internal inflammation is reduced and finally removed. You can take cayenne pepper in your food recipes. Or you can take a cayenne pepper tea with honey as the sweetener. It must be used for at least two months to show visible results.

  1. Rub Olive Oil

Massaging is a technique to improve the circulation of the blood. The relaxation feeling which we get after a good body massage is due to the fact that blood circulation is increased. This technique can also be used for varicose veins. An oil massage shows better results than the simple massage. Add sea salt to your regular warm water in the bathtub with one cup of apple cider vinegar. Dip the affected area if varicose veins are at lower body. If they are spread throughout the body, you can take bath in it too. spend at least 15 minutes in the tub and clean the body with fresh water. Immersion bath will heal the varicose veins and swelling of feet and legs as well.

Witch Hazel is an astringent anti-inflammatory herb which is extracted from a native plant of North America. It is called Hamamelis virginiana and is used in many herbal healthcare products. Witch Hazel strengthens the veins which reduce the inflammation. In result, varicose veins are stabilized. It heals the swelling and also reduces the pain if any. You can use it for the warm press like apple cider vinegar. Soak a wet towel in witch hazel and place it to the affected region for 30 minutes. You can also use witch hazel in the bath. Add 8-12 drops of distilled witch hazel and soak the affected area in it. You can also use it in your regular bath. There is no side effect of it.

  1. Apply A Mud Pack

Mud packs are usually considered as beauty treatments. The truth is that mud pack can reduce inflammation from internal side. If you use a fine clay mask, it will purify the skin and heal it too. For the same reason, mud packs can help to get rid of varicose veins topically. You just have to mix the clay in water and make a paste. Apply it to the affected area before sleeping, let it dry and then sleep. Remove it in the following morning. It will not only reduce the inflammation but also purify and improve the skin.

If varicose veins are caused because of stomach ulcers, this remedy may not work.

  1. Take Dietary Supplements

Certain compounds act to damage and injure the inner lining of veins. One of them is homocysteine which increases the risk of thrombosis and varicose veins. If you are not taking enough vitamin B complex in your diet, you are at a higher risk. Consuming alcohol with vitamin B deficiency is even more threatening. You should use vitamin B supplements in your diet. Also take naturally vitamin B6 and B12 rich foods such as tuna fish, salmon, chicken, turkey, and eggs. For vegan sources, use sweet potatoes, sunflower seeds, avocados, banana, broccoli, lentils, beans, and potatoes.

Parsley is a pleasant herb with high medicinal power. It is rich in vitamin C which naturally supports the circulatory system in humans. It has another compound “rutin” which strengthens the inner lining of veins and make them stable. It eventually prevents the chances of inner inflammation, causing the veins to shape into varicose veins. Use parsley in food recipes. Or boil in water to make a dip with added rose/marigold essential oil for refreshing aroma. Let it cool and use it with a moist towel on the affected areas daily.
