Blend 1/2 cup chopped habaneros and 2 tablespoons hot pepper flakes. Bring 16 cups of fresh water to a boil and to that mix in the blended spices. Now cover this mixture and leave it for at least 24 hours. The next day strain the mixture with cheesecloth and then pour the liquid in spray bottles. Spray this on the affected areas and entrance of your house and you will be able to get rid of mice in a day or two.

  1. Cloves to Get Rid of Mice

The strong essential oil in cloves is irritating to rodents. In case you are interested in using this remedy, you can either use whole cloves by scattering them in the affected areas, or use clove essential oil on cotton balls just the way it is done with the peppermint remedy. Dip cotton balls in clove oil and put them in the places most visited by mice. People usually prefer the essential oil as it is more powerful than the former!
